On Reddit, a series of leaks have surfaced ahead of the release of The Last of Us Part II Remastered, showcasing gameplay, the all-new ‘No Return’ mode, and the character skins coming as part of the remaster project. It’s a full reveal of the upcoming game, which will be released on January 19, and it includes footage of boss fights, story content, and multiple playable characters in No Return, including Lev and Tommy.
We Already Knew
Admittedly, there are precious few differences between The Last of Us Part II Remastered and the original game released in 2020, save that it looks a little more polished on the surface. While these leaks don’t reveal anything groundbreaking regarding any big secrets, they’re a great way to size up what’s coming in The Last of Us Part II Remastered content-wise to determine if you want to invest in the game.
In the last few hours, users ‘Teriosss65’ on Reddit, spammed their feed with clips and screenshots taken from a copy of The Last of Us Part II Remastered that they got almost a week early.
This could be the last we see of The Last of Us for some time. It has been confirmed that the multiplayer project that was in development at Naughty Dog has been cancelled, there isn’t even a script for Part III, and the television series hasn’t even started filming for season two, which is expected to drop in the latter half of 2025.
