LA Thieves Win Final CDL Major of 2025 Season

The LA Thieves just dominated Atlanta FaZe at DreamHack Dallas to claim the top spot in the final CDL Major of the 2025 season. Following a spree that took LAT through the upper and lower brackets, the team walked over FaZe in a memorable grand final that proved why they were the favourite heading into the tournament.

LA Thieves walk away from Major 4 in Dallas with $150,000 and 100 CDL Points. That’s enough to give the team a massive lead at the top of the standings as the top seed going into the Call of Duty League Championship, which takes place in one month in Canada.

Take Everything

The LA Thieves have enjoyed a solid season that has ended with a 70% game-winning record. The dominance has taken them to the top of the podium at two Major tournaments and a Minor event this season, and the squad now bursts into the bracket for COD Champs with white-hot momentum.

It was an insane tournament for the Thieves as players, too. Early in the event, the Miami Heretics sent LA Thieves into the lower bracket, and the high-flying emotions almost pushed Scrap and Super into a brawl on the stage. They were pulled apart, but LAT was able to get its get back later by eliminating the Heretics from the tournament in the lower bracket.

It’s worth stressing that LAT trampled over Toronto Ultra and OpTic Texas to get to that point.

Elsewhere, four teams were sent packing without a single win. Boston, Falcons, Cloud9, and Royal Ravens all fell short at this event and bowed out of the competition in the first round. That cemented the road ahead, and Vegas Falcons, LAG M8, Cloud9 NY, and Minnesota Rokkr will all miss COD Champs this year.

All eyes are now on Canada, with the CDL Champs event taking place in Kitchener from June 26 – 29.
