Fnatic has announced that Kajetan ‘kaajak’ Haremski will remain part of its Valorant roster until the end of 2028. The Polish entry has been an outstanding element of Fnatic since joining from Apex in late 2024.
The news will be welcomed by both Fnatic fans and Fnatic IGL Jake ‘Boaster’ Howlett after Fnatic lost Timofey ‘Chronicle’ Khromov to Vitality following the 2025 season.
Fnatic secures its future with kaajak re-signing
For Fnatic, there is no question of why the organisation would want to renew with the superstar Duelist.
The 21-year-old won Rookie of the Year, Most Improved Player of the Year, Duelist of the Year, and Player of the Year at the VCT EMEA 2025 Awards, which followed the conclusion of EMEA Stage 2.
As the awards are voted for by players, coaches, broadcast talent, media, and team-affiliated streamers, it goes without saying that kaajak is one of the most highly-regarded young talents in all of Valorant.
At Fnatic, kaajak got his first taste of Tier 1 silverware after Fnatic’s VCT EMEA Stage 1 triumph, 3-0ing Team Heretics in the Grand Final.
However, that was the only Grand Final success for Fnatic in a year that was best summarized by the phrase ‘So close yet so far.’
Runners-up at Valorant Masters Toronto, EWC 2025, and Valorant Champions 2025, kaajak and his team had a historic year, but one that failed to meet the roster’s ultimate goal for an international title.
Following the loss of Chronicle, Fnatic got off to a characteristically slow start to the year, missing out on a place at Valorant Masters Santiago after defeat to Liquid at EMEA Kickoff 2026.
Now with more time together alongside Sylvain ‘Veqaj’ Pattyn, Fnatic and kaajak will be hoping to reassert themselves as Europe’s best at EMEA Stage 1, starting on April 1.
