It feels like we’ve seen very little about Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 since its initial announcement. The marketing behind the game feels flat. Still, receiving a sequel to one of the most unique story-driven adventures is exciting. The mental health aspects still impress today, and so the second is definitely on our radar. But is Hellbade 2 coming to Game Pass?
Will Hellblade 2 Launch on Game Pass?
As a first-party launch, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 will absolutely launch on Game Pass on day one. You can play Hellbade 2 via Game Pass on May 21, so long as you have an active subscription.
If you have the Ultimate Plan for PC and Xbox, then you can play Hellblade 2 on either system without paying the retail price. An Ultimate Plan goes for $16.99/month, which is an absolute steal considering the number of quality titles available to download and play.

How Does Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 Play?
If you’ve never played the first Hellblade, you’re in for a bit of surprise with the sequel. It’s an action-adventure with a third-person perspective in which you take on the role of Senua. She’s a Viking facing horrors both externally and internally.
One of the most significant selling points of the Hellblade franchise is its portrayal of mental health. You see, Senua suffers from psychosis, which she believes is a curse on her people. During regular gameplay, you’ll hear voices and see things in the environment, but they’re not genuinely present. It’s an engaging gameplay mechanic that alters how you interact with the world and characters.
