Will Fallout: London Come to Consoles?
Unfortunately, due to the sheer size of the mod, Fallout: London on consoles remains a pipe dream. It’s just not possible with the available tech, the size of the team working on the project, or the requirements of recreating huge portions of London in the Fallout setting.
That’s right; Fallout: London won’t launch on PS5—perhaps the most potent current-gen system—either. It’s PC-exclusive, so hopefully, you can enjoy it upon release!

What is Fallout: London?
They call it a DLC-sized mod for Fallout 4, but Fallout: London offers a sense of scale unfound in other free-to-download mods. It’s more of a standalone game, or at the very least, a sizable expansion, with an entirely new world to explore.
Fallout: London features:
- A new post-apocalyptic landscape to explore
- Brand-new factions to interact with
- Unique storylines
- New NPCs
However, according to lore, FEV did not reach Europe. As such, you won’t find Super Mutants, Centaurs, or Deathclaws roaming London. It’s a shame but likely a limitation with the game’s engine and the team.
What You Need to Play Fallout: London
If you wish to play Fallout: London, you’ll require a PC capable of running the game successfully. If you can run Fallout 4 without crashing or constant frame drops, you should also be fine running Fallout: London.
That said, you also require a legit copy of Fallout 4, a fresh save file, and enough space for both the original game and the mod download.
Overall, it’s pretty straightforward!
