We’ve known about the new island of Cahaya for a while now. However, Gamescom 2025 pulled the curtain on some proper gameplay and revealed everything we need to know about inZOI’s Island Getaway schedule.
Gamescom 2025 is dominated by an abundance of AAA showcases and gameplay footage. But there’s still plenty of love for Krafton’s inZOI.
The lovable life-sim tackles a lot of the gameplay stylings as rival title The Sims, but in its own way. We learned not long ago that inZOI is finally on its way to the PS5, and now we’ve got our first in-depth look at Island Getaway and its contents, which lands tomorrow.
New InZOI: Island Getaway DLC Trailer
Cahaya has three islands and boasts many new gameplay mechanics, showing clips of fishing, banana picking, and swimming with large ocean creatures. Beware, you don’t get into trouble, though, as it also showed a character in a prison jumpsuit, so please keep to the letter of the law.
The new trailer gives us a fuller look at the Island Getaway DLC, and a playable demo of the new content is available to those attending Gamescom 2025.
If you’re unable to participate, you’ll be able to get your hands on the content on August 20, whereas PS5 users have to hang on a little bit longer until 2026.
