Cronos: The New Dawn is an upcoming third-person survival horror game, and it just got a brand new creepy trailer at Gamescom 2025.
Like many classic survival horror games, such as Resident Evil 4 and Alan Wake, the upcoming Cronos: The New Dawn will use the over-the-shoulder style camera angle. This is something that we saw much more of in the latest Gamescom 2025 trailer, and we can safely say that the game looks absolutely terrifying.
Much of the story details for Cronos have been vague up until now, but after watching the new trailer, some things are starting to become clearer. Here’s what we’ve learned after the game had its time to shine at Gamescom.

Cronos: The New Dawn will be released on September 5, 2025, so horror fans don’t have long to wait until they can try this spooky-looking adventure. Of course, if the game does well, it could go on to be the next great horror franchise, following in the footsteps of franchises like Dead Space, Silent Hill, and The Evil Within.
