Fighting game fans everywhere are eagerly awaiting news about Injustice 3, a game that doesn’t officially exist but has been rumored on numerous occasions to be in development at NetherRealm. Earlier this year, it was claimed that ‘I3’ was actively being pieced together, marking an imminent end to a decade-long hiatus of Injustice games.
In a new ‘leak’ online, courtesy of a stunt performer’s resumé, two Injustice 3 characters have been revealed. One is a returning (and predictable) presence, while the other is a total newcomer to the main game series (but not the wider universe).
Batwoman and Supergirl Are in Injustice 3
The resumé for a stunt performer, Mackensi Emory, has been discovered containing a telling nod to Injustice 3. The performer, who has offered her talents for motion capture roles in games like Star Wars Jedi and Mortal Kombat, has stepped up to deliver performances as both Batwoman and Supergirl.
Emory has enjoyed a relatively storied career that has taken her from Prison Break and The Boys to Thunderbolts and American Horror Story, and she has never been a stranger to high-octane fighting-based performances.
While many long-term fans of the Injustice series probably expected Supergirl to return to the franchise (given how Injustice 2 ended), the arrival of Batwoman was a bit harder to predict.

Batwoman has never appeared in a major Injustice game, but as Kate Kane, she has appeared in the wider universe, appearing in a prequel comic series. However, in that run, she was killed before the events of the first Injustice game, which means her arrival in Injustice 3 will likely be represented by a ‘new entity’.
Of course, given how long it has been since the last game came out, it could be a reboot or a totally new story. As the game ‘doesn’t exist yet’, it’s anyone’s guess.
