Industria 2, a single-player post-apocalyptic title with promise, has just been delayed by developer Bleakmill on launch day. The game, which is a first-person title with puzzle-solving elements, chilling enemies, and sumptuous visuals, was due to launch today on PC.
Following an announcement from Bleakmill and Headup, the game’s publisher, Industria 2 has been postponed to April 29.
Industria 2 Delayed To Ensure Quality
In a statement, the team at Bleakmill explained:
Turns out finishing a high fidelity singleplayer FPS campaign with a team of 8 is hard. We are punching above our weights with this one once again. On one hand, this is exactly why it’s exciting for us and apparently for a lot of people out there. Hearing from players and testers that this game sometimes can feel close to the games that inspired us growing up, like Half-Life, Bioshock and Resident Evil, is unbelievably beautiful and motivating.
On the other hand, it’s sometimes overwhelmingly difficult for our tiny team scattered around the globe to make it fully click without burning out and being able to pay everyone fairly every month. A hard balance between passion and the reality of paying bills that most creatives out there face.
Industria 2 is the sequel to the game of the same(ish) name that was released on PC in 2021. It rose to Mostly Positive in the review ratings on the Valve-backed platform, pulling in thousands of players and inviting them to explore an atmospheric title fraught with haunting sequences and mystery.
This new title builds on that universe, five years later.
Bleakmill and Headup released a demo for the game in October 2025, and since it surfaced, it has pulled in positive reviews from hundreds of impressed gamers eager to get their hands on the finished product.
When delivered, Industria 2 will boast an immersive, narrative core, vivid enemies, a unique setting, and cinematic audio at its finest. If you want to know what you’re getting into with Industria 2, head over to Steam and install the short demo.
