Xbox seems to be ready to bring even more of its games multiplatform, including one of its more highly anticipated titles Indiana Jones, to the PlayStation 5 (PS5).
According to Tom Warren of The Verge, Microsoft and Xbox are going to launch Indiana Jones as an exclusive for the Xbox Series X|S, but it won’t be a long-term exclusive.
“A release for PS5 is being considered for some months later, with Bethesda tentatively targeting a December 2024 launch for the Xbox and PC versions,” the report says.
It continues: “Exact timing and platform availability for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle could change, particularly as Microsoft’s new multi-platform approach for Xbox games hasn’t been finalized.”
In addition to Indiana Jones, other Xbox console exclusives such as Sea of Thieves, Hi-Fi Rush, and Starfield could be coming to PS5 in 2024.
It’s worth mentioning, Warren adds that Microsoft and Xbox haven’t decided which first-party games will remain exclusive and which will launch on other systems.
Xbox hasn’t responded to requests for comment from Insider Gaming on the latest reports of its games being released on competing consoles.
