Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls features a pretty stacked roster with 20 characters available at launch. Split into five teams of four, they range from some well-known to downright niche picks, but there’s even a secret character that you can unlock.
However, it’s not so obvious how you unlock them, though you might be familiar with who they are: The Champion. He’s the main antagonist for the game, and if you know where to look, you can even unlock him as a playable fighter!
With that in mind, here’s how to unlock The Champion in Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls.
How To Unlock The Champion In Marvel Tokon
To unlock The Champion in Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, you just need to complete one of the five Episode Modes.
Each team in Marvel Tokon has their own Episode to complete, and they serve as a short campaign of sorts. Each one takes around 90 minutes to complete, but if you skip the cutscenes and comic panels, the battles themselves shouldn’t take more than 20 to 30 minutes.
That said, the battles are fairly straightforward, though the final fights with The Promoter and The Champion are slightly more demanding. Still, if you’re simply after the unlock, don’t be afraid to lower the difficulty and breeze through the combat.
Once one of the Episodes is complete, you’ll be granted a quick message alerting you that The Champion is available as a playable character.
Can You Unlock The Promoter In Marvel Tokon?
Whilst you can unlock The Champion as a secret character in Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, the same cannot be said for The Promoter.
Instead, she remains as a boss enemy to fight in each of the Episodes, so you’ll have to settle for The Champion for now.
That said, there are more characters coming to Marvel Tokon in the future, with four DLC characters on the way over the next year, with the first being Phoenix Cyclops. The rest remain unknown, but it looks like there’s a cosmic focus with the next team on the way.
