Escape from Tarkov is renowned in the extraction shooter space, but it looks like the studio is looking to the stars with Fragmentary Order, a new and ambitious hardcore sci-fi shooter.
If you’re familiar with Nikita Buyanov’s work, chances are you’ll already be keeping a close eye on the upcoming title. Fortunately, you won’t have to wait until launch to get your hands on it, as Closed Alpha Tests are set to begin soon.
This is a great opportunity for you to experience the game early and provide valuable feedback that could help shape its development. With that in mind, here’s how to sign up for Fragmentary Order’s Closed Alpha Tests, when they’re expected to begin, and what PC requirements you’ll need.
How To Sign Up For Fragmentary Order Closed Alpha Test
If you want to participate in Fragmentary Order’s Closed Alpha Tests, you’ll need to purchase one of the available Prime Batch packages.
There are currently two tiers to choose from: Candidates, priced at $44.99, and Founders, which cost $79.99. While both packages include access to the full game at launch, as well as General Alpha and Beta testing, the Founders tier comes with additional perks, including access to the game’s roadmap and more experimental testing sessions.
Essentially, you’ll need to buy into Fragmentary Order well ahead of its official release if you want to participate in the Closed Alpha. It’s a particularly appealing option if you’re already convinced by the game’s premise, but you should keep in mind that purchasing a package for an unreleased title comes with some risk if you’re still on the fence.
Fragmentary Order Closed Alpha Test Release Window
There’s no set date or start time for Fragmentary Order’s Closed Alpha Tests, but they are set to begin in December this year.
These play tests will be session-based, meaning you won’t be able to just have unlimited access to the game. When dates are revealed, you’ll likely be able to hop on to the game during specific windows.
That said, there won’t just be one Alpha Play Test, as the Prime Batch access runs throughout the game’s pre-public development phase. So, if you miss one play session, you shouldn’t have to worry, as there will likely be plenty more in the coming months.
