Fortnite offers plenty of free rewards to secure for a limited time, including the Battle Bus SUV, and we’ve got all the details you need to secure it in your locker.
The Fortnite Battle Bus is an iconic vehicle in the franchise, having even become a real-life LEGO set, and has also featured in other Epic Games titles, such as Rocket League.
For a long period of time, the Battle Bus was available as a free reward in Rocket League, but there are two versions, and only one seems to award the item in Fortnite.
Here’s everything you need to know.
How to Get the Battle Bus SUV in Fortnite
The Battle Bus SUV is one of the vehicles that has starred in another Epic Games hit, Rocket League, and right now, the only way to obtain the item in Fortnite is by already owning it on Rocket League.
There are two variants of the vehicle in Rocket League, with only one providing the Fortnite reward. If you own the free limited-time Titanium White Battle Bus, the item will be added to your collection in Fortnite.
The free reward was available over the course of a two-year period from June 2023 to June 12, 2025. The Battus Bus is no longer available to claim.
If you own the Titanium White Battle Bus in Rocket League and haven’t received the item in Fortnite, make sure both games are linked to the same Epic Games account.
Can You Purchase the Battle Bus?
No, the Battle Bus SUV is not available for purchase in the Fortnite Item Shop. However, it could be added in the future.
Epic Games changed the approach with exclusive items in August 2024, including Battle Pass rewards and free rewards, making it clear they may return to the Item Shop at a future date.
Prior to this, many items were only available exclusively for a limited time, meaning those who are new to the game have no chance of claiming them.
Although not confirmed, the vehicle could be available to purchase in future in the Fortnite Item Shop. There’s no indication of when this could happen, however.
If it does come to the Item Shop, expect it to be one of the most popular items for purchase, given how important it is to Fortnite lore and its iconic status.
