The Multi-Tool is bought through the mid-game Trader shop, and each purchase costs 80 Dosh.
You frequently visit the Trader during Killing Floor 3 matches. After you complete a round, you’re rewarded with Dosh (in-game currency) to spend on new weapons, tools, and ammo, and health refills.
This is where we can purchase the Multi-Tool, and here’s a quick guide within a guide:
- Load into a game of Killing Floor 3.
- Clear a wave.
- Head to the Trader—usually marked with a blue holographic trail.
- Access it.
- Click on the Tools section of your loadout.
- Scroll across to Multi-Tool.
- Buy as many as you want or as you can afford.
- Once you exit the Trader, your Tool has now changed to the Multi-Tool.
What Does Multi-Tool do in Killing Floor 3?

The Multi-Tool is used to trigger environmental assists such as Traps, Ziplines, Turrets, Armor Crates, and unlock special doors around Killing Floor 3 maps.

| Traps | Activating a Trap allows you to lure bigger Zeds into these traps and deal huge damage, or knock off a huge percentage of the wave’s reinforcements. |
| Turret | Turrets are automated guns that can give you a big helping hand in taking down Zeds in battle. |
| Ziplines | You can get from A to B much faster using Ziplines—handy for temporarily escaping Zeds or getting somewhere you must reach ASAP. |
