Shift at Midnight is a unique horror game that blends your skills of deduction, along with your survival instincts. If you’re keen to see whether you’ll make it, check out if you can only do it alone, or if you can fight the night with other players, and in crossplay.
Games can be a lot more fun together, or equally more terrifying—it depends on what genre you’re indulging in. With Shift at Midnight, you are very much looking at a horror game in every sense of the word, and it can be an uncomfortable experience if you play it wrong.
So wouldn’t it be good if you could take your friends to the till and check it out together?

Shift at Midnight is ‘An online co-op detective horror for up to 3 players,’ so you can dive in by yourself, join forces with a friend, or get a whole posse to take on the Dopplegangers of the night.
This is going to be a popular game for a while to come, I imagine.
Does Shift at Midnight Have Crossplay?
Crossplay is available for Shift at Midnight, although it’s a bit more limited than you’re probably hoping for.
Here’s the official explanation courtesy of the Shift at Midnight Discord:
‘Xbox console players can play with PC Gamepass players. Steam doesn’t currently feature crossplay. Steam will have a public server browser on launch.’
With the game being on XBOX and PC, both formats are accessible to each other, but it’s a bit more difficult if you’re on Steam, but not impossible!
