How Long Is The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time Remake? Game Length & Total Hours

It’s time to revisit one of the best games of all time with The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake, exclusive to the Nintendo Switch 2. Whether you’re a returning fan or playing for the first time, a new Zelda title is bound to sell like hotcakes, and you’ll probably want to know how much time you’ll need to set aside for this fan-favorite adventure.

Thankfully, reviews are flooding in, and whilst it remains an incredibly well-received title, details about the game’s length have also been shared. So, without further ado, here’s how long it will take you to complete The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake, including a completionist run.

How Many Hours To Beat Ocarina Of Time Remake?

According to numerous reviews, it should take you around 20 hours to beat the game.

Of course, with the game being very respectful to the original 1998 title, if you’ve played The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time before, odds are you’ll remember your way through the game, and that could potentially shave off an hour or two of your runtime.

Still, 20 hours or so is widely regarded as the sweet spot for an adventure like this, especially compared to the more modern Zelda titles that can take hundreds of hours to fully explore and complete. Here, you’ll be tackling dungeons, unlocking new items, and once again thwarting Ganon’s evil plans.

How Long To 100% Ocarina Of Time Remake?

Judging by reviews, it could take you up to 30 hours to 100% The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake.

There’s a lot to find and collect in Ocarina of Time, with Heart Pieces and Gold Skulltulas just a few of the items you’ll be scouring the land for, as well as numerous side quests across Hyrule to complete.

Once again, though, if you’ve played the original, you might have some recollection as to where some items are hidden, or how to defeat certain bosses, thus shortening how long it might take you to 100% the game.

Will you be gunning for 100%? Let us know your thoughts on the Insider Gaming Discord server.
