Hi-Fi Rush finally launches on PlayStation 5 today, serving as another instalment in the effort to push Xbox and PC games over onto PlayStation’s flagship platform. As one of the highest-rated games of 2023, Hi-Fi Rush puts players in control of an ‘aspiring rocker’ who uses music- and rhythm-based attacks to beat the living daylights out of evil machines.
Hi-Fi Rushing To PlayStation
Bethesda released a new trailer for Hi-Fi Rush to celebrate the game’s launch on PlayStation 5:
With jaw-dropping visuals that burst out of the screen and a soundtrack that’s punchy and upbeat, the action never slows in Hi-Fi Rush. This game – which has a rating of 87 on Metacritic – has wowed players for a year, and now it’s going to entertain gamers on a new platform.
Here’s an updated blurb from Bethesda:
Grab your guitar and go from wannabe to rockstar in Tango Gameworks’ award-winning rhythm action game Hi-Fi RUSH, available today on PlayStation 5!
Fight back against the machinations of an evil robotics megacorporation as Chai, an aspiring rocker whose music-player-for-a-heart makes everything moves to the beat!
The PlayStation 5 version includes the Arcade Challenge! Update!, with two bonus modes that will put your musical robot powers to the test!
Hi-Fi Rush joins the likes of Pentiment, Grounded, and Sea of Thieves, all of which started as Xbox-exclusive titles but are now being ported to PlayStation 5 (and Nintendo).
