Hexrite is a game in which players work toward completing a magical ritual that summons an ancient deity. The game will have you dealing with gods, using all types of magic, a variety of spells, and exploring various cities where you can try out different platforming and traversal abilities.
Regarding the magic in Hexrite, players will use different types of it to deal with various enemies, including feats such as summoning paper constructs, conjuring poison clouds, and turning the floor into a field of bubbles.
In your quest to summon a deity, you will meet various others as well. Some of them will help you out, while others might need a sacrifice in order to acquire more power. Players should note that their fate depends on the relationships they make along the way.
There are a variety of spells in your arsenal that you will use against enemies and bosses through a classic action-packed combat system. These spells can be upgraded to discover new uses, while players can also discover forbidden magic for an additional edge in battles.
Hexrite will have players explore haunted cities and floating towers, where they will discover various platforming and movement abilities that let them perform stunts like bouncing on top of jellyfish and gliding across flaming peaks. The game is set to arrive in late 2026.
