DekaDuck, an upcoming 2D action platformer, has just received a stunning new trailer during the Insider Gaming Showcase. This all-new game, developed by Asteristic Game Studio, features a phenomenal lead character who is half duck, half robot, and all action!

What is DekaDuck?
DekaDuck is a hand-drawn 2D action platformer with insane abilities, charming visuals, and a fantastic host of hero characters. Players will turn their enemies’ abilities against them, solve tricky puzzles, and fight fearsome bosses (including a mechanized Tyrannosaurus Rex) while digging deep into a sci-fi world laden with mysteries.
The team at Asteristic Game Studio is publishing a demo soon and launching a Kickstarter to support the game, which is already shaping up to be something special. There’s a nice streak of humor and plenty of action at the heart of DekaDuck.

Fast Pacing Encourages Intensity
DekaDuck is an energetic 2D action platformer with dynamic, high-octane combat sequences. As you explore the game, you’ll unlock new abilities and learn how best to battle this title’s many opponents using a range of grabbing, shooting, and dashing attacks.
Unique Sci-Fi Story
The heart of DekaDuck revolves around an intriguing, original story in which a genius of sorts creates the powerful DEKADUCK from his daughter’s pet while on the run from the Intergalactic Police. Bizarrely, the police captain pursuing ‘Dr. Less’ falls in love with Deka, which makes for a twist in the journey.
Multiple Worlds to Explore
DekaDuck features six secret-packed worlds to explore, all of which are accessed by Dr. Less’ ship (which crash-lands on one uncharted planet at the start of the game). Each world has unique enemies, bosses, and mysteries to unravel.

The Studio Behind DekaDuck
Asteristic Game Studio has made a few games, all of which have been well received on Steam. This includes the likes of Spooky Station, Awakening Sarah, Dreaming Sarah, and Dandy & Randy DX. The biggest game was Dreaming Sarah, an adventure platformer about a girl trapped in a coma.
The team is headquartered in Brazil and has been releasing games since 2015.
