A new Helldivers 2 leak reveals Ship Customization features that may have been scrapped for the game.
Many players have been awaiting new updates for Helldivers 2 from Arrowhead Studios for some time. The developers have recently discussed features such as split-screen functionality and game size reduction; however, neither of these has been implemented or officially announced. Now, a new leak reveals that the devs might have some ship customization features in the works as well for Helldivers 2.
Helldivers 2 Has A Lot of Ship Customization Features Under Wraps
The latest leak about Helldivers 2 Ship Customization features comes from IronS1ghts’ new post on X (formerly Twitter) via Gamerant. Their post states that these features might have been “scrapped” already, but that hasn’t been confirmed. Regarding the features themselves, it seems that players will be able to customize the Primary Color for both the interior and exterior, change the secondary color, and adjust the banner color. There are also texture customization options, which allow players to ‘set texture’ and ‘set banner’.
In a follow-up tweet, the leaker states that Arrowhead is “holding onto a lot of content at the moment” for its co-op third-person shooter, which includes numerous ship customization options. The customization apparently allows players to modify armor, weapons, and other aspects of the ship. The post also clarifies that the ‘Banner’ mentioned in the Helldivers 2 leak is separate from the “banner” used in clan customization. Instead, it is an insignia that can be placed on certain parts of the ship.
In other news, Helldivers 2 sold more on Xbox than PlayStation in the first six days. Additionally, here’s everything you need to know about the Dust Devils Premium Warbond.
