Team17 and Hell Let Loose: Vietnam developer Expression Games have announced that the game will launch in June, with its open Beta starting in just two weeks.
The announcement revealed that Hell Let Loose: Vietnam is set to launch on June 18 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC. Physical versions of the game will launch later in the summer on August 4 for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X.
In addition to the game’s release date announcement, Espression Games has also revealed that the game is set to have an open beta later this month, starting on May 29. The open beta (free to everyone) will only be available on PC.
You can watch the brand-new trailer below:
The official game description reads, “Fight across large-scale jungle battlefields inspired by real-world locations during one of history’s fiercest conflicts. Coordinate with your squad in brutal 50 vs 50 warfare, pilot helicopters, command patrol boats and battle through dense terrain where teamwork is everything.”
It continues, “Players can also join the free Open Beta Weekend on Steam from May 29 through June 1 for a chance to experience Hell Let Loose: Vietnam before launch.”
I managed to get hands-on with Hell Let Loose: Vietnam at Gamescom last year, where I described the game as “familiar, but entirely different”. The game feels like the Hell Let Loose we all know and love, but its atmosphere makes it feel entirely different.
