Hasbro‘s The Legend of Zelda Electronic Master Sword sold out quickly after pre-orders opened, showing strong demand for the $39.99 item. This is part of the celebration of Zelda’s 40th anniversary, highlighted by the release of the first live-action Legend of Zelda movie in 2027.
Speaking of 2027, that is when this item is scheduled to ship, with an approximate ship date of May 1, the day after the movie’s theatrical release.
Hasbro’s Electronic Master Sword Features
The 27-inch electronic sword went up for pre-order at 1:00 p.m. ET on September 9 and is already sold out. This isn’t surprising, as the hero of Hyrule has a dedicated fan base. The item features over 15 interactive electronic sounds and is designed based on the Master Sword from “The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.”
