Nintendo has announced a ‘Customer Appreciation Sale’ which was made possible in part by tariff-related refunds.
Nintendo has had a lot of back-and-forth with customers and the United States government over the tariff policy enacted by President Donald Trump in 2025. However, it seems like the worst of it has now passed, and the company has brought a limited-time sale to thank players for their continued support of the brand.
Nintendo Customer Appreciation Sale Details
A new announcement from Nintendo of America on their website reveals that a Customer Appreciation sale will kick off tomorrow. It starts September 12 at 9 PM PT and runs until September 26 at 8:59 PM PT. The sale is described as one of the company’s largest promotions ever, and during this period, players can get 30% off dozens of Nintendo Switch digital games and bundles, plus savings on select physical games, downloadable content, accessories, amiibo, and apparel.
The sale will be available on Nintendo eShop, Nintendo Store, and participating retail locations; however, the products and offers may change based on the retailer and sales channel.

Nintendo explains that the Customer Appreciation Sale is their way of thanking Nintendo players for “their continued support” adding that it was “made possible in part by tariff-related refunds”. Nintendo also stated that while the company “absorbed most tariff-related costs, the refunds helped make promotions like this one possible.
