Halo: The Fall of Reach audio drama will be released on November 10, 2026, and the cast has been revealed, featuring some iconic names.
For those who may not know, Halo: The Fall of Reach is the first novel in the franchise, written by Eric Nylund. It was released in 2001 as a prelude to the first installment of the series, Halo: Combat Evolved. Now, in celebration of the franchise’s 25th anniversary, the original book is being adapted into an audio drama, featuring the return of the original voice actors to reprise their roles.

A new post on Halo Waypoint reveals the cast for the audio drama “Halo: The Fall of Reach.” Fans will be thrilled to hear that the original voice actor for Master Chief, Steve Downes, will reprise his role as John-117. Additionally, Jen Taylor, who voices both Cortana and Dr. Halsey, will also return. Tim Dadabo will serve as the narrator for the audio drama, which is being produced in collaboration with Simon & Schuster Audio.
Halo: The Fall of Reach is crucial to the franchise, as it provides much-needed context on Master Chief’s background.
