GTA Trilogy Has Been Downloaded 30 Million Times On Netflix

Netflix’s efforts to grow its gaming front seem to be succeeding, at least in one area. According to new data compiled by mobilegamer.biz, the GTA Trilogy has been downloaded over 30 million times on Netflix Games.

The data, which comes from Appmagic, shows that GTA San Andreas has been installed 20.5 million times by players. GTA Vice City sits at 6.5 million installs while GTA 3 has 3.3 million.

As far as the devices being played on, iOS has seen 15.8 million installs of San Andreas compared to 4.7 million on Android. For Vice City, that breakdown is 4.9 million on iOS and 1.6 on Android while GTA 3 had 2.4 million players on iOS and just 929,000 on Android. Lastly, most of the players come from the United States with each game having more than 23% of a U.S. player base.

Netflix continues to invest in its gaming department. As of December 2023, over 90 games were in development for the platform.
