Below, I’ve sketched out what we know about the GTA 6 Ultimate Edition, which is the top-tier edition of this monumental open-world epic. If you’ve been on the fence about whether or not to pay more for the Ultimate Edition, this guide might just swing you one way or another.

How Much Does the Ultimate Edition Cost?
What might sound bizarre is that you get all those digital extras for just $20 more. If you pre-order GTA 6 and go for the Ultimate Edition, you’re getting the top-tier experience with the doors blown wide open. Every store, every exclusive outfit, and every vehicle are ripe and ready for the taking.
In August, it was suggested that up to 89% of all pre-orders were linked to the Ultimate Edition. It seems that the vast majority of GTA fans do not want to miss out on the extra content, but does that include you?
The Ultimate Edition will set you back $99.99, while the Standard Edition will retail for $79.99.
But is it worth paying more?
Ask yourself that question. This game has been more than a decade in the making, give or take. It’s arguably the most hotly anticipated game ever made, and we might never see something of its size or spectacle ever again, if the industry has its way. This could be a generational game that we remember for as long as we all live.
Does that sound like something you’d want to spend an extra $20 on?
Sure, you could argue that Rockstar Games has paywalled some juicy exclusive content and given other players who can afford that extra $20 more of an advantage, but damn if that’s not the best digital bundle I’ve ever seen for a few bucks extra.
