Many of us are unified by one desire and wish right now: To play GTA 6. We have to know if Rockstar Games’ decade of hard work can even remotely live up to expectations, so let’s explore GTA 6’s release date and times.
Doesn’t it feel like every day is a bit longer now? Since the realization kicked in that GTA 6 is happening and it’s coming, the release date actually feels further away the closer it gets. We’ll be playing Grand Theft Auto 6 soon enough.
When is GTA 6 Coming Out? Release Date
GTA 6 is finally coming out on November 19, 2026.
It’s painful to think that we were originally going to have GTA 6 in 2025. This was the title’s first official release window announced by Rockstar Games. A delay occurred, and it was revised to May 26, 2026.

However, rumors of a new delay sprang up in early 2026, and those fears were confirmed. Grand Theft Auto 6 was pushed back one more time to November 19, 2026. Thankfully, the delays seem to have been capped at two.
What Time Can I Play GTA 6?
There is no official confirmation about what time you can play GTA 6, as Rockstar Games hasn’t confirmed if it’s a regional rollout or a midnight launch, but expectations are a midnight New Zealand launch.
The common belief is that New Zealand gets GTA 6 first at midnight. But we’ve seen other possibilities, too. To be clear, this IS NOT CONFIRMATION of the final GTA 6 release time.
We will update this once Rockstar finally clarifies, as there are various theories on social media right now.
Has GTA 6 Been Delayed Again?
No, GTA 6 has not been delayed again, and as it’s so close to launch, it’s expected that it won’t receive a late delay, meaning we should have the green light for the November 19 launch.
