GTA 6 Will Be The Most ‘Mature’ Game In The Series Yet

Around the world, ratings boards are publishing their evaluations of Grand Theft Auto 6, which is easily the most anticipated game ever made. As you can probably guess, it’s shaping up to be an extremely adult game, boasting some very grown-up themes, which is something that has been made clear in all the trailers and teasers posted thus far.

But in the latest evaluations by the likes of PEGI (Pan European Game Information), it has been confirmed exactly how mature Grand Theft Auto 6 will be, pushing all the boundaries possible to really earn that PEGI 18 or M for Mature rating.

GTA 6 Will Be Raunchy, Brutal, and Depraved

Grand Theft Auto has never beaten around the bush when it comes to adult themes. It has always been one of the riskiest franchises in the business, and that concept has escalated with each successive release.

However, Grand Theft Auto 6, which is set to drop on November 19, is looking like the most mature game in the series.

Recently, PEGI classified the game, handing it an 18+ rating and justifying that tier. Per the explanation, GTA 6 will have:

  • Bloody violence with a ‘high degree of realism’
  • Detailed decapitation and dismemberment
  • Ability to harm ‘all other characters inhabiting the environment’
  • Real-time drug use, such as snorting cocaine from a baggie in your pocket
  • Full nudity and scenes of intercourse
  • Scenes of ‘sexual fetishes’
  • Hands-on and interactive private dance experiences in strip clubs
  • Discriminatory language on TV shows and in-game radio channels
  • Harm to domestic animals
  • Curse words

(Thanks to IGN for the spot)

And that’s before you start to consider the assorted crimes you can commit, gunfights you’ll get into, people you’ll terrorize, and so on…

It’s pretty safe to assume that GTA 6 will be the most hardcore Grand Theft Auto game ever made, and that Rockstar Games has spared no expense when it comes to absolute freedom.

Historically, other GTA games have pushed the boundaries of what’s ‘acceptable’. GTA 5 arguably went the furthest, especially when Trevor Philips was on screen doing some bizarre sh*t.
