Rockstar is stepping up advertising for the launch of Grand Theft Auto 6, with the latest emergence being an array of true-to-form billboards in Miami promoting in-game companies and assets.
Launching November 19, GTA 6 is arguably the most anticipated game of all time, and the Rockstar title is expected to smash an array of records when it comes to market.
Miami, which serves as part of the inspiration for GTA 6’s Leonida location, has been featured in a wealth of advertising stunts in the build-up to launch, and a fresh batch has now been spotted.
GTA 6 True to Form With New Ads in Miami
Posted on X by OfficialJoelF, advertisements spotted include a Weazel News van, as well as kiosk ads featuring the Vice City Manatees, Pfister, Kowalski, and Kronos, many of which feature true-to-form crude wording.
The Pfister ad is accompanied by a tagline reading ‘Go Topless,’ while the Kowalski ad reads ‘Suddenly You Are Big Enough’, and the Kronos ad says ‘Always Come Early.’
Those unfamiliar with GTA 6 may be caught off guard by the advertisements and the wording, but for those following the game, it’s pretty much what you’d expect.
None of the advertisements is real-world products; instead, they focus on the GTA versions of famous brands, including Porsche and Swarovski.
The new ads follow on from real-life GTA 6 cars being spotted on the streets of Miami, while previous advertising stunts include a collaboration to turn Miami Heat into Vice City.
As we get even closer to launch, more ads are expected to surface, and given the vast attention they have received so far, it shouldn’t take long for them to be spotted.
