Michael Madsen, an actor known for roles in various classic movies and games such as Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 3 has passed away.
He was 67 years old.
While he’s best known for roles on the big screen, Madsen is remembered by gamers as the voice of Antonio “Toni” Cipriani in GTA 3. Cipriani, for those who don’t know, was one of the highest-ranking members of the Leone Family.
“In the last two years Michael Madsen has been doing some incredible work with independent film including upcoming feature films Resurrection Road, Concessions and Cookbook for Southern Housewives, and was really looking forward to this next chapter in his life,” Madsen’s managers Susan Ferris and Ron Smith, and publicist Liz Rodriguez said in a statement via NBC News.
According to his representatives, Madsen died due to cardiac arrest.
