Grounded 2 Milkweed Locations: How to Get Milkweed Tuft in Grounded 2

Grounded 2 is available now on Xbox Game Pass, and while PlayStation 5 players will have to wait, there’s still plenty on the cards for the future, as shown in the roadmap released by Obsidian Entertainment.

For now, though, there’s a bunch of resources to hunt down, and Milkweed Tufts are a valuable resource for exploring one particular area. We’ve got all the details to help with your hunt.

The best spot to find Milkweeds in Grounded 2 is south of the Picnic Table, with the exact spot shown on the image above.

Like Acorns, Milkweed Pods are mostly found scattered on the ground in this location. However, they can also still be attached to flowers, which requires shooting them down. If this is the case, keep your eyes peeled for the Pink Flowers at the top of the plant.

Harvesting from a Milkweed Pod requires a Tier 2 Upgrade to the Omni-Tool Axe, so make sure you have unlocked this before you begin your search.

Each Milkweed Pod can be harvested twice, dropping resources each time. The Milkweed Tufts are a valuable resource when exploring the cold area around the Ice Cream Cart, as well as for crafting furniture. Meanwhile, Milkweed Chunks are used for Thatch buildings.

All Milkweed Tuft Recipes in Grounded 2

Milkweed Tufts are a crucial resource for crafting armor with cold protection in Grounded 2, as well as crafting furniture for your base.

Currently, though, the number of recipes requiring Milkweed Tufts is fairly small, and only the Fuzzy Parka provides a significant boost in game. In future updates, however, they could be required to fight more bosses and access new areas, so they’re a handy resource to have around.

Landing Pads are also useful if you’ve utilized an area with height to build your base, allowing safe descent without using those pesky stairs and ladders.

The table below shows all recipes in Grounded 2 that we have discovered so far which require Milkweed Tufts, along with the other resources needed.
