Gran Turismo 7 Is Getting A “Big Update” This Week

Gran Turismo 7 is set to get a “big update” this week, according to a producer on the franchise.

In a post on Twitter over the weekend, Kaz Yamauchi said that the game will be getting a new update while teasing at least seven new cars seemingly coming to the game.

Those cars include:

  • Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 2018
  • Dodge Charger 1969
  • GR-R R33 NISMO 400R
  • Lexus LFA 2010
  • Mercedes Benz 190E EVO2
  • Porsche 992 GT3 RS
  • Tesla Model 3

As far as what else the update might entail, we’ll have to wait on official word from Sony. If it’s really a “big update”, it could be assumed that new tracks or track variants will also be included. The last major update back in August added three new cars and a number of new events. The last update to add a new track was in February when the Grand Valley track was added to the game.

Gran Turismo 7 — launched March 4, 2022 — is available exclusively for PlayStation 5.
