Ghostrunner 2: When Can You Preload The Game?

It has been revealed by PlayStationSize on Twitter when you can preload Ghostrunner 2 – and how big the game’s download size is. Launching on October 26th, Ghostrunner 2 is the sequel to the first game in the short series that debuted back in 2020. This follow-up iteration was revealed back in May, and a little more than a month ago, it landed a limited-time playable demo.

On October 26th, players who are looking for something a little more action-packed and faced past will be more than happy to dive headlong into Ghostrunner 2 – and here’s when it can be preloaded.

How Big Is Ghostrunner 2?

On Twitter, PlayStation Size revealed that the download size for Ghostrunner 2 will clock in at 13.352 GB, which isn’t too much of an issue in a world where games regularly release with sizes exceeding 60 or 70 GB.

Here are the preload dates, as relayed by PlayStation Size:

Standard and Deluxe Editions

  • Pre-Load: October 24th, 8am PT
  • Release: October 26th, 8am PT

Brutal Edition

  • Pre-Load: October 22nd, 8am PT
  • Release: October 24th, 8am PT

So, for those picking up the Brutal Edition (which is around $30 more expensive than the standard edition), there’s a benefit that’ll allow two days of early access. Given that hte first Ghostrunner game was around seven hours in length, it’s likely most gamers securing that early access window will have the game finished before it releases globally.
