The HoYoverse crew just wrapped one of the regular broadcasts that it uses to market the next major updates hitting Genshin Impact, and this time, it was all about the new Snezhnaya update, coming in the 7.1 patch.

Next Genshin Impact Update Revealed
HoYoverse has unveiled what’s coming next in Genshin Impact, the sensational, free-to-play RPG with millions of fans. The next update, which will be ushered in alongside the 7.1 patch, is due to hit on September 23rd across all platforms.
What we already know is that two new playable units are landing with this update: Vesna and Vodyanitsa. The former is an Anemo character who prioritizes melee combat, while the latter is a Hydro character who leans primarily into healing.
As you can imagine, the Genshin Impact 7.1 update also brings fresh story updates, including more light being shed on Tsaritsa and the battle with Celestia.
