The rumors were true as Xbox has officially revealed Forza Horizon 6. The reveal came during the company’s showcase event at Tokyo Game Show 2025.
Set in Japan, the latest entry into the franchise is set to launch in 2026 on Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Xbox Game Pass. For those wondering about a PlayStation 5 release, it was said that while the game is coming “first” to Xbox consoles and PC, Playground Games and Turn 10 Studios are working to bring the game to PS5 “post-launch”.
“Discover the breathtaking landscapes of Japan and become a racing Legend at the Horizon Festival in Forza Horizon 6, which will launch first on Xbox Series X|S consoles and PC in 2026,” Xbox said.
The announcement of the game, which had been heavily rumored, was spoiled just ahead of the Xbox showcase thanks to an Instagram ad on Thursday. That said, you can check out the full reveal teaser trailer for yourself below, though not much about the game is given away.
“We’ll be revealing more on FH6 in early 2026,” Playground Games Art Director Don Arceta said. “Fans should keep an eye on our official Forza channels for more updates. We can’t wait!”
