Along with release news, we’ve learned how much Forza Horizon 6 is going to cost on PS5, that you can get it as a physical edition with a disc (yay), and when you might be able to pre-order the racer on PlayStation.
The Forza Horizon 6 PS5 release date was revealed by dataminer billbil-kun. It confirms Tom Warren’s report that Forza Horizon 6 isn’t coming to PS5 this year, and will be an early 2027 treat for PlayStation owners. But that’s not all.
Forza Horizon 6 Has a Physical Edition
It’s a curious change, as Forza Horizon 5 launched on PS5 without a physical disc or box. We’re not complaining, and billbil-kun (through Dealabs) has said: ‘And good news, the game will also be released in physical version (on disc), on the same date as the digital version.’

So that’s a tick in the box for FH6 on PS5. Also, they also outed the prices you can expect, although this could fluctuate between potential editions (not yet revealed) and if you’re buying digital or physical:
- €69.99 in Europe.
- £59.99 in the UK.
The dataminer doesn’t say it, but we’d also expect the US version to cost $69.99. Additionally, while not confirmed, billbil-kun has given their timeframe on when you can expect to start pre-ordering Forza Horizon 6 on PlayStation 5:
“The official announcement of the release date should come very soon. We estimate that it will be done this week, with the opening of pre-orders in the process.”
That just about covers everything! With even more content and seasons planned for 2027, you’re hopping behind the wheel at the right time on PlayStation.
