Forza Horizon 6 has a broad map to explore across Japan, but the Estate is one area of the map that will be shaped entirely by user creation.
Customization has long been a core part of the Forza franchise, stemming all the way back to the original Motorsport titles and downloadable car designs from the community, and Forza Horizon 6 is taking things up a notch with the introduction of the Estate.
If you want to know how to gain access to the Estate and how to upgrade it, Insider Gaming has all the details you need.
How to Unlock The Estate in Forza Horizon 6

The Estate in Forza Horizon 6 is not unlocked immediately and requires some early progression, although it shouldn’t take too long to access the feature.
Access to the Estate in Forza Horizon 6 is available once you collect your first stamp in the collection journal for exploring Japan, with contributions to your level earned by locating Mascots around the map, completing Horizon Stories, and ticking off other exploration tasks.

Once you earn your first stamp, you will receive a message from Mei, who will invite you to the Estate. Drive there for a short introductory cutscene, which then leads to full access to the Estate.
There’s plenty of work to be done to get your Estate up to speed, however, with full customization and decoration control.
How to Upgrade The Estate in Forza Horizon 6
The Estate in Forza Horizon 6 does not feature a basic upgrade process. Instead, the area is entirely crafted by the player to create their own space.
Some initial prefab buildings cannot be removed, but the area is otherwise a blank canvas to create whatever you want, with various foliage, track pieces, decorations, and plenty more to utilize.

The feature will be enhanced further by community creations, with the ability to copy designs over to use via the community-created prefab function.
Ultimately, how the Estate looks and operates is down to each player individually, and players receive Credits based on how many visits your design has received by other members of the community.
