Gem Sprites are the latest rare variant of Sprites added to Fortnite, expanding an area of the game that Epic Games has been particularly focused on building this season.

How Many Gem Sprites Are in Fortnite?
There are currently eight Gem Sprites to collect in Fortnite, with Epic Games making an apparent last-minute change to reduce the number.
A Gem Punk Sprite was previously revealed but was not added alongside the other Gem Sprites, and it remains to be seen whether it will be added.
It could be that the Gem Punk Sprite is being saved for a future event, or perhaps even next season, with leaks indicating the Sprite feature is set to remain.
For now, though, you can focus on hunting down the eight Gem Sprites added to Fortnite, which will likely take a lot of effort.

While there aren’t any guaranteed ways to obtain specific Sprites, excluding the Gem Duck Sprite, there are approaches to boost your chances.
Hints at locations on where to find the rare Gem Sprites have provided a brief overview of exactly where to hunt them down, meaning it won’t be a scattergun approach to randomly find them all.
However, Gem Sprites are still an extremely rare variant, so don’t expect to find them quickly, as it could take hours of hunting to complete your collection.
