Fortnite’s brand new chapter may have just launched, but players are still eager to see when they will be getting the second season for Chapter 4. So when is the Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 2 start date?

When does Chapter 4, Season 1 end?
Chapter 4 has already been making strides in the gaming community. Everyone is playing. With over 1 million viewers on Twitch during the Chapter 3 finale event, Fortnite has been quite the buzz these past few days.
But when does the first season come to an end? Here is what we know so far.
Nothing has been confirmed by Epic, but the new season’s battle pass is set to end on March 10. This usually means the end of the season, but has been pushed back before.
Popular and trusted Fortnite leaker, Hypex, also tweeted that the season would end on March 10.
If true, this would mean Fortnite’s first season of Chapter 4 would last a little over four months, making it one of the game’s longer seasons.
Still, this is all up for speculation, as Fortnite could choose to push the release date back.
Does this mean that Chapter 4, Season 2 will begin on March 10?
More than likely not.
Fortnite is notorious for having at least 12 hours worth of downtime between seasons. In the past, we have had up to three days of downtime.
Most likely, the second season of Chapter 4 will begin on March 11, after a period of downtime.
Still, this does not mean Fortnite could surprise us with a longer downtime, or even a shorter one.
Will there be a season-ending event for Chapter 4, Season 1?
Although the season one event has not been confirmed, it is more than likely that we will see at least something happen to kick off the next season.
Fortnite has been pushing events out toward the end of every season since the early days of Chapter 1. To think that they would stop doing that now is highly unlikely.
Fortnite does like to keep players on their toes though. The new features they surprise us with every season just go to show that you cannot predict anything when it comes to Fortnite.

When does Chapter 5 begin?
As of now, there is no set release date for Chapter 5, but with Chapter 3 lasting an exact year, it is more than likely that Chapter 4 will do the same.
Expect Chapter 5 to release in late 2023 to early 2024.
