Epic Games has teased that Fortnite will be getting another Halo crossover event in the near future.
Posted to the channel’s official Fortnite X account, a new image shows a blue and red Spartan in MJOLNIR armour with the caption “Yeah, we called in the experts for this one.”
For those now too familiar with Halo lore, according to XboxEra, the caption could be referencing the Flood, which is a parasitic alien seen in some of the Halo franchises.
As for what exactly the event could be is unclear, but rumors have suggested the crossover event could be named “Invasion Evolved”, so perhaps, players will need to fight off waves of the Flood.
This wouldn’t be the first time that Halo has had a crossover event with Fortnite either, as previously, Master Chief was introduced to the game as a cosmetic skin in addition to the Gravity Hammer Pickaxe, a UNSC Pelican Glider, and a Warthog emote.
Fortnite is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, PC, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Mobile.
