WATCH: Five Nights at Freddy’s Movie Trailer Leaks Online

The Five Nights at Freddy’s movie trailer has leaked online ahead of its official release.

The trailer was posted to Twitter in two parts by user @zazaranhoz, who appears to have been given access to the trailer via some form of survey. Because the survey and the trailer footage were almost certainly under an NDA, the trailer is covered in identification markers, but you can watch the trailer below:

According to the early preview trailer, Five Nights at Freddy’s the movie will release in October.

In August 2022, it was revealed that the animatronics in the film will not be CGI and instead use the talented Jim Henson’s Creature Shop for its practical effects.

Five Nights at Freddy’s was released back on August 8, 2014, by indie-game developer Scott Cawthon. Despite only starting as a point-and-click horror, the game became instantly successful. The Five Nights at Freddy’s Universe now spans 8 games, 7 books, and 1 upcoming movie.

The main series consists of nine video games taking place in locations connected to a fictional family pizza restaurant franchise named “Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza”, after its mascot, the animatronic bear Freddy Fazbear.
