First The Duskbloods Gameplay Leaks During Network Test

Details for The Duskbloods have been fairly hard to come by as FromSoftware slowly builds up to the game’s release, with hardly any gameplay showcased in the trailers released thus far.

Well, it looks like some fan has finally given us what we’ve been waiting for, as a short gameplay video has been leaked online. This arrives just before the Closed Network Test is set to begin, giving some fans a chance to demo the game before release.

You Are The Victor Of This Dusk

The leaked footage surfaced on BilIbili, and it shows us just over two minutes of PvP gameplay towards the end of the match. Three players are left, and it seems like they’re placed in what may be a randomly selected arena, this one titled Moon Blood Bestowal, where they must duke it out until there’s only one left standing.

You’ll notice immediately that the gameplay is exactly what you might expect from the team at FromSoftware, the masterminds behind titles like Elden Ring and Sekiro. Movement looks fluid, with one of the fighters able to get a lot of verticality in their moveset—likely due to one of the 14 leaked classes for the game.

At the core of the fight appears to be a boss, this one slowly rolling around and spitting flames across the arena. As is fitting with the PvEvP gameplay loop, you’ll have to make sure you’re not taken out by the other players whilst tackling the boss, or vice versa.

Fans of FromSoftware will be able to pick apart the gameplay in great detail, with snippets of action ripped straight out of past titles. That said, it does still seem like a step forward, especially in the PvP department; you’ll see players switching weapons quickly, committing finishers, and even air-juggling each other.

Give the leaked gameplay a look for yourself below:

If you like how it looks, then you’ll need to be a Nintendo Switch 2 owner, as the game is exclusive to the platform. Will you be picking up The Duskbloods? Let us know your thoughts on the Insider Gaming Discord server.
