Final Fantasy 14’s Dawntrail expansion is scheduled to arrive on July 2, 2024. Ahead of the release, we have just received a brand new launch trailer for the DLC. This trailer gives players a glimpse of the new journey that the Warriors of the Light will be setting sail towards, along with a showcase of some gameplay elements. The Final Fantasy 14: Dawntrail expansion will transport us to the uncharted region of Tural, nestled in the western continent. This is a new setting and a gateway to a thrilling adventure, the birthplace of the fabled ‘legend of the golden city’. As the rite of succession looms, your involvement as a player will be pivotal in shaping the future ruler of the nation of Tuliyollal.
Additionally, players will have new jobs up for grabs, such as Viper and Pictomancer. Vipers are agile, close-ranged combatants that excel in quick, precise strikes. They wield two one-handed blades, allowing them to unleash a flurry of slashes against their enemies. Vipers are particularly effective when enemies are weakened, as they can deliver the final blow. On the other hand, a Pictomancer is a unique character capable of bringing imagination to reality. This character uses a magical brush to cast different colourful spells against the enemies, creating stunning visual effects and powerful attacks.
With the FF14 Dawntrail expansion, a treasure trove of new content awaits. Embark on thrilling Raids like Echoes of Vana’diel, The Arcadion, and Futures Rewritten (Ultimate). Traverse through a myriad of new dungeons, engage in field operations, and conquer challenging trials. The horizon of adventure has expanded.
Furthermore, the system has received an all-new graphics update, including many visual improvements, enhanced texture and shadow resolution, and improved material qualities for characters and environments. The Final Fantasy 14: Dawntrail expansion introduces a new playable race, the Female Hrothgar. This race, known for their strength and resilience, brings a unique aesthetic to the game. Moreover, you can now create a truly unique character with the new set of customization options introduced with the DLC.
