Hogwarts Legacy Is Already 2023’s Best-Selling Game

Even though 2023 has only been underway for a few months, one game has topped the charts consistently with its sheer amount of sales in the United States. That game is none other than Avalanche Software’s Hogwarts Legacy. Within its initial launch week, the game managed to sell over 12 million companies and has steadily remained at the top since then in terms of copies sold. It is not the only game to dominate the monthly top 20 best-selling games, however.

Circana has just revealed the top-selling games of February 2023 in the United States, and many of the titles that made the list come as no surprise. Both The Last of Us Part 1 and Part 2 made it into the top 20, likely due to a resurgence in popularity following the television adaptation. Newer titles like the recently released Dead Space remake have also made their debut, proving that 2023 may be quite the successful year for the gaming industry.

20 Top-Selling Games of February 2023

The list below shows each of the top-selling games of February 2023 in the United States. They are listed in order from most to least copies sold. Both digital and physical editions sold count toward a game’s ranking.
