FBC: Firebreak is hosting a closed technical test for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC from May 15 to May 19.
FBC: Firebreak Closed Technical Test Details
The closed technical test for FBC Firebreak was announced through a new X post on the official ControlRemedy account. It arrives just over a month before the game’s June 17 release. To sign up for the test, players must visit this website, provide their email ID and platform of choice, and, if chosen, receive a key.
The FBC: Firebreak closed technical test aims to test the game’s matchmaking and balancing. Hence, cross-play has been enabled for all platforms during this test, allowing PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series players to matchmake and check out the balancing together. Players should know that signing up for this test will not guarantee access.
About FBC: Firebreak
For those unaware of FBC: Firebreak, it is an upcoming three-player cooperative first-person shooter from the creators of Control and Alan Wake. It is set in the Control Universe, and you are the first responders to “reality-warping anomalies” and “otherworldly monsters”. Your goal is to restore order and reclaim control of the building by controlling the chaos and taking on some of the weirdest crises.
To face these creatures, you must choose a specific weapon and customise your “Firebreaker’s Crisis Kit with specialized tools, grenades, support items, and paranatural augments.” Tactical play will be key, and you’ll need to strategise according to the playstyles of your team, along with the tools and skills you unlock along the way.
FBC: Firebreak will be available to play through Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus. Will you sign up for FBC Firebreak’s closed technical test? Let us know below, and join the discussion in the official Insider Gaming forums.
