Fans Think Saber Interactive is Teasing New Hellraiser Game

Horror games have been killing it lately. So it’s only (super)natural to go and add another to the mix. Saber Interactive is known to dabble in the genre, and fans think a new teaser trailer is hinting at a Hellraiser game. The thought of it makes the nails in our head stand on end.

Hellraiser is up there with Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th, and various other horror hitters. Pinhead’s spiky look has echoed in the halls of hell for decades, and the character has appeared in games before. The villain was recently seen in Dead by Daylight, but developer Behavior Interactive announced a while back that it had lost the license to use Hellraiser content.

Now, Saber Interactive could be scooping it up for itself.

Would a Hellraiser Game be Another Asymmetric Multiplayer Title?

The Saber Interactive YouTube channel posted a cryptic video on July 17 with nothing more than a sus eyes emoji for its title.

A 30-second video features a static-heavy TV picture, candles, screaming, the sound of chains rattling, and more screaming. Now, I’m not the biggest Hellraiser fan in the world, but thanks to commenters, all signs are pointing toward a new Hellraiser game.

“This has to be Hellraiser, the bell toll and chains” said one user, whereas another comment added: “Could this be a Hellraiser game? That sounded like Pinhead to me!”

The video also links to a website where all it displays is “PM 1:00 UTC. July 22, 2025.

This is presumably when a new project will be announced. Users are already worried that if it is Hellraiser, it will be another 4v1 asymmetric shooter in the same vein as Evil Dead, Friday the 13th, and Dead by Daylight.

Dead by Daylight seems to be the only one that remains consistently popular, so it’ll be interesting to see if it is Hellraiser, and if it is a multiplayer game.

Would you be happy to see a standalone Hellraiser game from Saber? Would you opt to skip it if it does go down the multiplayer road? Let us know through the Insider Gaming forum.
