Amazon has reported that the Fallout TV series has already been watched by 65 million viewers in the first 16 days since its debut.

The achievement makes the series the second most-watched title since the release of “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” in 2022. According to Amazon (via Variety), the show is its most-watched ever among adults 18-34, with 60% of the show’s audience coming from outside the United States. Amazon is yet to report on specific data, though, including the metrics on how viewers are counted and their watch times.

Just days after the show’s official release, Amazon renewed the series for Fallout Season 2.

“Praise be to our insanely brilliant showrunners, Geneva and Graham, to our kick-ass cast, to Todd and James and all the legends at Bethesda, and to Jen, Vernon, and the amazing team at Amazon for their incredible support of this show. We can’t wait to blow up the world all over again,” executive producers Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan said via Variety.

The show’s success has also seen the Fallout games gain immense popularity recently, with the likes of Fallout 76 seeing 1 million players in a single day. Last week, Fallout 4 had its next-gen upgrade release, too, but the game was unfortunately full of game-breaking bugs and issues—which Bethesda has said it is working on fixing.
