How to Beat Expert Mobility Course in Modern Warfare 4—How to Unlock Clockwork Weapon Charm

The Expert Mobility Course in Modern Warfare 4 is the kind of endlessly replayable content that you’ll both love and pull your hair out over at the same time. If you persevere, you can obtain the Clockwork Weapon Charm, but MW4 does not make it easy.

Upon starting the Modern Warfare 4 beta, my eyes were immediately drawn to the Mobility Course. I had flashbacks to 2007’s CoD 4 F.N.G training course. You can’t beat a short training course to improve your time. Patience and persistence (in abundance) are required for the Expert course in MW4.

How to Get Clockwork Weapon Charm in Modern Warfare 4

To unlock the Clockwork Weapon Charm, it’s believed you must beat at least 56 seconds to earn an S-Tier ranking and scoop up your prize.

Now, as I write this guide, we are still in the infancy of Mobility Course mode in Modern Warfare 4, and the game does not strictly tell you how much time is needed to beat it to earn the reward.

However, beating at least the 56-second mark is guaranteed to land the cosmetic. One of the Insider Gaming team has hit 58 seconds, and it wasn’t enough.

So, until there’s clarification, go on the assumption that sub-56 seconds is your goal.

How to get S-Tier Time in Expert Mobility Course in MW4

To get an S-Tier time in the Expert Mobility Course, you need to hit as many targets as possible, choose the optimal route through the course, and not take any fall damage or be struck by lasers to maximize your attempt.

Whilst you can conceivably take one laser hit, or mistime a ladder jump and plummet onto your ankles, which they won’t thank you for, you really need to perfect it this time.

Your natural instinct will be to rush through the course in what you believe is the right route, but it’s far from the case. Sometimes, you need to drop down a level to find a quicker path, and there are hidden targets littered all over the track.

Some of them you won’t even realise have popped, even with the audio cue, and some are off the beaten path, but are necessary to chop down the final time.

For a clearer vision of what you need to do and how to go about doing it, check out Reidboyy, who has achieved a staggering time of 42:36, hitting 40 targets, taking no fall damage, and not being struck by any lasers.

Use the tips and get yourself a well-earned reward in MW4. Let us know how you get on in the Insider Gaming Discord server.
