The Esports Foundation has confirmed five more players who have qualified to compete in EA Sports FC at the Esports Nations Cup.
Special qualifiers were held for countries and territories ineligible for the regular EA Sports FC qualifiers, and secured spots for:
- Jordan – Abuleil
- United Republic of Tanzania- Hermesking
- Algeria – Wassimos_10
- Senegal – DexXjunior
- Sudan – Arshe23
From November 18-22, a total of 128 players will compete while representing their nations in the $600k tournament.
With those dates, the esports tournament will presumably be played on the upcoming EA Sports FC 27.
All EA FC Players Qualified for the Esports Nations Cup
Initially, half of the total player pool was decided by finding the top 64 players in the FC Pro World Rankings with a limit of one person per country.
This has led to some players changing allegiance to smaller nations. For example, Australian pro Marcus Gomes has decided to represent Timor-Leste.
