Esports Nation Cup: EA FC 26 Qualification Explained

How EA Sports FC 26 players can qualify for the Esports Nations Cup and the regional distribution for qualification spots has been confirmed by the tournament’s website.

While not taking place until the middle of November, the ENC event will still be played on EA FC 26 despite the fact that the next iteration in the game series will likely have been released by then.

While hundreds of esports coaches have been confirmed for the ENC, Insider Gaming has been informed that the EA FC 26 tournament will strangely not allow coaches.

The upcoming EA FC event will see 128 players compete for national pride and a share of the $600k prize pool.

However, only a maximum of two players can represent a country at the tournament, which will lead to some fierce competition.

For example, in the current EA FC Pro World Rankings, there are three Dutch players in the top 10: Emre Yilmaz, Manuel Bachoore, and Levi de Weerd.

The top 64 players in the FC Pro World Rankings will receive a direct invite to the event. However, only one player from each nation can receive a direct invite.

Another 56 spots will then be filled via online regional qualifiers, with limited spots distributed to each region.

Then, the final eight spots will be awarded to ‘Wildcards,’ though no further details have been confirmed so far. This will likely mean there will be a Last Chance Qualifier just before the event.

EA FC 26 — ENC Regional Distribution

The limited number of qualifier slots for each regional event will be distributed as follows:

  • Europe East — 14 national players
  • Europe West — 8 national players
  • LATAM South — 6 national players
  • Middle East — 4 national players
  • Africa — 6 national players
  • Asia South — 4 national players
  • Asia North — 4 national players
  • LATAM North — 6 national players
  • North America — 2 national players
  • Oceania — 2 national players

EA FC 26 will be one of the 16 games at the inaugural Esports Nations Cup.
